So I passed my class with a C. I've never been so happy to get a C in my life. If I had failed it, and that was a possibility, I would have had to retake both the classroom and the clinical pieces over again, and that would have made me very sad, to say the least.
So now I start my final leg on my road to becoming an RN, "Comprehensive Nursing". I'll have classroom lecture and a one on one "preceptor" I'll have to spend 64 hours with in a specified period of time. So by November 22, I will be done and eligible to take the nursing boards, which is simply a computerized test to ensure I'm at a basic level for safety.
I'm contemplating getting a brand to celebrate or recognize this rite of passage. I'm still in the research stage, and I'm not sure there is anyone in this area who is experienced enough to do what I want done, so I may make a trip to Chicago in December to get it done. Time will tell.
I crocheted tonight (thought I'd throw that in) and I'm working on my friend Karen's kitchen set. I should be done with all the pieces in a couple of weeks, then perhaps I should buy a digital camera?

My precious Tiger Lily had a heart attack earlier this week and every day since has been touch and go, hence my silence is communication. She is hangin in there...Oh yeah, and tax season. 12 days w/out a day off...agh!
