Yeah! I got my first comment, thanks Mel!!
I made it through one more week of clinicals. I was so tired that as soon as I got home (my clinicals are from 6:30a-12:30p) I layed down and slept for 3 hours. I spent the rest of this evening studying for a test on Monday. I went to Starbucks to study and had total North Hollywood celebrity encounter. Paula Sands was also there, sitting a couple of tables away from me. When I lived in North Hollywood California, my friends and I would share our encounters with each other on a regular basis, seeing Joann Worley in the grocery store or Cheryl Ladd at the airport. My roommate and I kept track of who we saw on a chalk board in the bathroom of our apartment. Oh, and if you don't know who Paula Sands is, she is a local celebrity (the best kind). She is an evening newscaster and has her own show "Paula Sands Live" AKA "PSL" right before the news, it's a sort of Martha Stewartish, Informational, down home-alicious type of program. So I bought a new book to study with, an NCLEX review book that has a CDROM with over a 1000 questions, similar to those that will be on my boards. I so prefer studying at my computer than with a huge book on my lap, so this will give me that opportunity.
I'm so exhausted and I fear that this particular blog is more stream of consciousness than anything else. Even after a 3 hour nap I'm totally ready to sleep. Hopefully my test score on Monday will be a bigger highlight than seeing Paula Sands.
